Vans Custom Culture

FRESH 23 will not be the only Vans fashion show being put on by high schools this year. After hearing about Wheat Ridge's own Fresh 23 fashion show, Vans has decided to create a national competition among high school art classes, known as Custom Culture. The FRESH 23 inspired contest currently has over 350 schools participating, all creating custom Vans canvas shoes to be reviewed by company reps on April 15th, 2010. Finalists will be chosen on April 18th via votes from the online community, where they will be given the chance to fly out to LA, meet Vans representatives, tour the Vans facilities, and get the chance to put on a fashion show in front of a panel of celebrity judges. After much debate and careful voting, the Wheat Ridge Art Department have voted Kristie Han, Iris Vollmer, Steph Routzon, and Cary Frank to represent FRESH 23 in this years competition. Congratulations artists!
